Care for Newcomer Children

Regional Connections provides ON-SITE childcare for children aged 6 months up to 6 years of age.

This service is free for parents who are attending on-site workshops, ESL classes, assessments, family programs and/or appointments with our Settlement Workers or Employment Facilitators.

Children in the program will:

Learn through play while having fun.

Participate in age appropriate activities to help them develop skills that will help with settlement into Canada.

Children are encouraged to speak English and develop friendships.

They will learn structure and routine to help make the transition into kindergarten easier

Important Information:

Parents must remain ON-Site while their children are participating in our Care for Newcomer Children program.
