Employment services are available to anyone who is unemployed or underemployed and eligible to work in Canada.
Our employment services include:
- Access to up-to-date, online job listings for the South Central region
- One-on-one assistance with resumé development, cover letters and interview skills
- Group workshops for resumé development
- Help identifying related job skills and employment opportunities
- Computer and internet access for job searches and resumé preparation
- Access to our resource library, which includes resumé templates, writing guides, information to help you prepare for job interviews, and job listings
ESDC Temporary Foreign Worker Project
- Regional Connections is a partner organization for the 2020-21 ESDC Temporary Foreign Worker Project in the prairie region
- Temporary and Seasonal workers in agriculture and food processing are particularly vulnerable to COVID outbreaks
- Temporary and Seasonal workers often have a difficult time accessing regular support services due to their work schedules
- Regional Connections can help welcome and support Temporary and Seasonal workers in agriculture and food processing from December 2020-June 2021
- Supports for workers can include: welcome packages, COVID-related health and safety supplies, information and resources for community services, information and orientation for life in Canada, support and interpretation for accessing government services, group information workshops
